Friendly supportive communications training

Obtain feedback from simulated clients on the words you use, your pace of delivery and your body language, in a very safe environment at one of our supportive communications workshops. Our workshops

We like to work with small groups of delegates (8-10), to ensure we address your particular communication issues.

In the workshops, you have a bespoke interaction/consultation, based on what you want help with, with a client (played by an In-Communication simulated client) who, along with a skilled facilitator and others from the group will provide you with feedback on your communication skills.

You maintain control, in that you can stop the interaction/consultation at any stage in the process. Our workshops provide a safe and supportive environment to help you develop and improve your client interactions.

2023 Programme Online & face-to-face

We are currently developing our 2023 programme of practical workshops. These will include the following:

  • The distressed client – anger and sadness.
  • The complaining client – justified or not.
  • Understanding your client – and them understanding you.
  • Dealing with money – valuing yourself and your fees.
  • Gaining compliance – explanation and planning.
  • General Course – the challenging client.
  • General Course – constructing a consultation.
  • Working with the challenging client – ultimately reducing anxiety.
  • Enhancing your consultation technique – making yourself more effective.

Bespoke Training

We fully understand that sometimes set courses don’t always fit the bill. That’s why we offer bespoke training, tailored to yours and those of your team members’ needs. To achieve this, we offer:

  • Online or face-to-face discussion, where we can match up your ideas, concerns and expectations with how communications skills training can help.
  • From this, we create a package of one-off or specially curated sessions to meet those needs.
  • These could consist of a number of blended learning approaches appropriate to the success of the course.
  • If required, a workbook for each delegate to record their learning and progress.
  • Option to include coaching and mentoring follow up online for individuals.

Working in Partnership

Would you like to work with us in hosting regional workshops? Opportunities exist for your practice to support locally run workshops. You provide your practice as the venue, if space permits, and we will support you in contacting local practices in your area to source delegates. We will engage with local practices, deal with bookings and payments. We will of course run the workshops and in return provide you with 1 free delegate place for a member of your team, worth up to £235.
